Join The Answer ALS Research Project

Answer ALS will activate its research initiative before the end of 2015 with six initial collection sites and more in the works. The initiative will motivate people living with ALS to participate in the largest effort to end ALS through patient-driven research in the history of the disease.

While more does not always mean better, big numbers are essential in this case to enable our team to deeply mine enough data to begin to truly understand ALS.

STEVE FINKBEINER, MD, PhD

The time is right for this initiative. Although the Nobel prize-winning iPSC technology is still relatively new, we have shown that it can be used to discover and develop new therapeutics. This initiative could dramatically accelerate ALS therapeutics discovery and change the face of ALS forever.

Senior Investigator and Associate Director, Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease Professor of Neurology and Physiology,
